Proving quote to be correct and to exceed up to the expectation of the people, Under the aegis of National legal services authority, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh State legal services authority with indomitable will in its one more cloud nine effort to bring the happiness on the faces of marginalised, poor & needy people, in collaboration and assistance of Government of Chhattisgarh, has yesterday launched the E Mega Camp series through virtual mode in all 23 civil districts and 64 talukas, which was inaugurated by the Executive chairman Hon’ble Shri Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra in the august presence of Hon'nle Shri justice Manindra Mohan Srivastava, and Hon’ble Shri justice Gautam Bhaduri, Judge High Court of Chhattisgarh.

Although it was a huge challenge to conduct this kind of E-Mega Camp series, but taking the bull by horns with self belief and in a mission to touch the lives of needy around us, joint efforts were put in to everything by District Judiciary and District administration of all 23 Revenue Districts and 64 Talukas of Chhattisgarh. Finally, under the able guidance of Justice Prashant Mishra, executive Chairman of CGSLSA, the result of this E mega camp series turn out to be a great success.

Member Secretary, Siddharth Aggarwal, told that joint efforts of all are able to touch the mark of 8,69,803 beneficiaries with benefits worth Rupees Four hundred two crores nine lakhs eighteen thousand five hundred nine only, out of which two hundred seventy one crores seventy five lakhs sixty four thousand one hundred ninety nine Rupees belong to Manrega work, which will be distributed in the months to come. In other benefits ensured to the beneficiaries, Battery Tricycles for specially abled persons, Books, School dress to students, Agriculture Tools to farmers etc. were distributed.

One Crore Seventy lakhs rupees were also disbursed by CGSLSA to the victims of offences under POCSO, and other offences against women under the new Victim compensation scheme, 2018. Apart from above, Sadbhavna series for specially abled persons was also launched on this occasion.

Under this series, videos on legal awareness for specially abled person have been prepared in collaboration of social welfare department of Chhattisgarh.
