The Acting Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court issued a notice permitting e-filings at Allahabad. It started on the 27th of April.
In view of the massive surge in Covid-19 cases in the Prayagraj district, to protect the staff and practicing advocates in the Court from infection of coronavirus, the Court has decided to start its functioning through virtual mode only.
The letter issued by Acting Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court has stated that,
“In wake of exponential rise in the number of COVID-19 positive cases at Prayagraj and also keeping in view the safety of learned counsel, litigants’ staff and other stakeholders, Courts in the High Court at Allahabad are functioning through virtual mode only.”
