Today, Justice Alok Aradhe and Justice Vipul M. Pancholi took oath as Judges of the Supreme Court. The swearing-in ceremony was held at 10:30 A.M. With this, the Apex Court has gained two senior judges known for their judicial integrity, administrative experience, and commitment to justice.
Justice Alok Aradhe commenced his judicial career as an Additional Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court in 2009 and was made permanent in 2011. Over the years, he has served in multiple High Courts, including Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Telangana, and most recently as Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court before today’s elevation.
Justice Vipul M. Pancholi, originally from the Gujarat High Court, entered the legal profession in 1991. Elevated as a Judge in 2014, he was confirmed in 2016 and later transferred to the Patna High Court in 2023. Widely respected for efficiency and judicial acumen, he has decided more than 35,000 cases in his judicial career.
