The Judges, public representatives and the lawyers of Madhya Pradesh High Court in Indore had opted for public transportation instead of cars last week as part of the city's 'No Car Day' initiative that had been promoted by the Mayor.

They had travelled to their offices using public transport or on their two wheelers and the District Court judges had cycled to their Courts. The Mayor, Pushyamitra Bhargava had urged everyone not to use their cars on the 22 September to observe the 'No Car Day' and this was an attempt to imporve the air quality. 

MaThe Indore Bench of the High Court had also issued a notice to the staff, judges and lawyers and encouraged them to use alternative transportation.
