The President of India has assented to the appointment of 10 Judicial Officers as Additional Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

The notification issued by the Law Ministry notifies that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint

  1. Shri Virinder Aggarwal,
  2. Ms. Mandeep Palm,
  3. Shri Amarinder Singh Grewal,
  4. Shri Parmod Goyal,
  5. Ms. Rupindeijit Chahal,
  6. Ms. Shalini Singh Nagpal,
  7. Shri Subhas Mehla,
  8. Shri Surya Partap Singh,
  9. Ms. Aaradhna Sawhney and
  10. Shri Yashvir Singh Rathor,

to be Additional Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, for a period of two years, in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.”
