In a landmark deal, Fincare Small Finance Bank is set to merge with AU Small Finance Bank in an all-share deal, making it the first ever merger in the small bank finance space.
Fincare Small Finance Bank is a digitally enabled small finance bank that offers a brad range of deposit and asset solutions catering to 54 lakh customers and has a market valuation of 4416 crores.
At present, AU Small Finance Bank’s market capitalization is Rs 46,000 crore, the highest among small finance banks. The market capitalization of the merged entity will be slightly over RS 50,000 crore.
Anagram Partners is the legal advisor to Fincare Small Finance Bank. The team is led by Partners, Shuva Mandal and Ankit Mishra and comprises Vidhisha Ambade, Averal Sibal and Rajni Tolani.
