2. Mr. S.S. Chaudhary, Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand.
3. According to the petitioners, they are serving as Store Keeper-cum-Clerk in Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Government Medical Science and Research Institute, Srinagar, Pauri Garhwal and all of them have put in more than fifteen years of continuous satisfactory service.
4. By means of this writ petition, petitioners have sought a direction to respondent no. 3 to consider their claim for regularisation.
5. Learned State Counsel submits that claim of casual employees for regularisation has to be considered as per Regularisation Rules, 2013, as amended in December, 2025. He submits that if petitioners think that they are eligible as per those Rules, then they can make representation(s), claiming regularisation.
6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting petitioners to make separate representation(s) claiming regularisation. In their representation(s), petitioners shall indicate the date of their initial engagement in the Medical College and shall also furnish their relevant 2026:UHC:2250 information. If petitioners make such representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken by the competent authority, as per law, within four months thereafter.
