This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the Order dated 14.03.2024, passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench in Writ Petition (S/B) No. 353 of 2023, "Dr. Naresh Malik Vs. Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun and Others".

2. Heard Mr. Anup Kumar Verma, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Jagdish Singh Bisht, learned counsel for the respondent no.1 and Mr. Satyendra Singh Lingwal, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 and 3.

Mr. Jagdish Singh Bisht, Advocate, appearing for the respondent no.1 submitted that the State of Uttarakhand has fled a Special Leave Petition against the Judgment and Order dated 14.03.2024, passed in Writ Petition (S/B) No. 353 of 2023 and other writ petitions. The Special Leave Petition (C) No. 007307- 007312/2025 have been clubbed with the Special Leave to Appeal (C) No(s). 28690-28700/2024. The Hon'ble Supreme Court passed the Order on 22.11.2024 in Special Leave Petition (Civil) Diary No(s). 48968 of 2024 (Now, Special Leave Petition (C) No(s). 28690- 28700/2024) :-

"11. List after four weeks.
12. In the meantime, the proceedings of contempt shall not be precipitated by the respondents till the next date of hearing".

4. Mr. Anup Kumar Verma, Advocate, submitted that he is not pressing the present contempt petition at this stage.

5. The present contempt petition (CLCON No. 177 of 2024) is dismissed as not pressed.
