Hon'ble Pankaj Purohit, J. (through V.C.) Mr. Yogesh Pant, learned counsel for petitioners, appeared through V.C.

2. Ms. Swati Verma, learned Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand/respondent Nos.1 to 3.

3. Mr. Suresh Chandra Bhatt, learned counsel for respondent No.4, appeared through V.C.

4. By means of the present writ petition, petitioners seek a writ of mandamus restraining the respondent Nos.1 to 4 from interfering with their rights guaranteed under Article 19(1)(g) of the Constitution of India and further to restrain the respondent Nos.1 to 4 from dispossessing them till their relocation under the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act 2014.

5. Respondents are directed to file counter affidavit(s) within four weeks.

6. Put up on 28.04.2026.

7. Till then, no coercive measure shall be taken against the petitioners.
