(2) Petitioner was transferred on promotion. Since petitioner was not satisfied with the place of her transfer, she submitted a representation seeking posting at another institution of her choice. Petitioner's representation has been rejected. In this writ petition, petitioner has challenged the rejection order. (3) The reason assigned for rejecting petitioner's representation is that there is no vacancy available in the institution indicated by the petitioner in her representation. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that now a vacancy has arisen in the institution indicated by the petitioner, therefore she can be transferred there.
(4) This Court is not inclined to go into the issue raised by the petitioner. It is for the employer to decide where to post a particular employee. The employer has rejected petitioner's representation for valid reasons. Therefore, there is no scope for interference in the matter. Writ petition thus fails and is dismissed.
