                                                 Hon'ble Pankaj Purohit, J.

Mr. C.S. Rawat, learned counsel along with Ms. Rajni Supyal, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Mr. Yogesh Pandey, learned Deputy Advocate General for the State/respondent nos.1 to 3.

3. Mr. Bhuwan Bhatt, learned counsel for respondent no.4 & 5.

4. By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 17.03.2026 passed by respondent no.4, whereby the proceedings for demarcation of the land in question were stayed.

5. Learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos. 4 & 5 (Nagarpalika Parishad) produced the order dated 24.03.2026 before this Court, which is taken on record. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for respondent nos. 4 & 5, Nagarpalika Parishad, Mussoorie, that the order impugned in the present writ petition has now been withdrawn by the said letter, and a decision has been taken to inquire into the matter and submit the inquiry report to the Additional Commissioner (Administration), Garhwal Mandal, Pauri.

6. Since the impugned order has been withdrawn and it has been stated that an inquiry, as sought by the petitioner, shall be conducted and the report shall be submitted before the Additional Commissioner 2 (Administration), Garhwal Mandal, Pauri, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.

7. However, learned counsel for the petitioner wants the inquiry to be conducted in a time-bound manner.

8. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent nos.3 & 4 to conclude the inquiry referred to hereinabove within a period of four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.

9. Pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
