2. Mr. S.S. Chauhan, learned Deputy Advocate General assisted by Mr. Vikash Uniyal, learned Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand.
3. The present Bail Application has been moved by the Applicant-Firoz Alam, aged about 22 years, S/o Mohd. Raza, R/o Village Parmanandpur, P.S. Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. The Applicant is in judicial custody in connection with FIR No. 138 of 2024, registered at Police Station Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar, for the offences under Sections 363 and 376 of the I.P.C., and under Sections 5/6 of the POCSO Act.
4. The report was lodged by the brother of the minor victim girl, stated to be about 16 years of age. It was reported that the minor girl was missing from her residence, and the informant (brother) apprehended that the present Applicant- Firoz Alam, had abducted the girl.
5. Learned State Counsel prays for, and is granted, three weeks' time to file objections to the bail application.
