Mr. Abhijay Negi, Advocate, for the petitioner.
Mr. Pankaj Miglani, Advocate, for Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. (2) Uttarakhand Public Service Commission issued an advertisement inviting applications for selection to 14 different posts under the State. Petitioner participated in the said selection. Grievance raised by the petitioner is that although he has been declared successful in respect of 11 different posts, however he has not been declared successful for the post of Deputy Education Officer in the preliminary examination. (3) Per contra, Mr. Pankaj Miglani refers to a document enclosed as Annexure-4 to the writ petition for contending that petitioner had applied only for 11 different posts, which are indicated in his online application. He further submits that petitioner's application reflects that he did not apply for the post of Deputy Education Officer.
(4) We find substance in the submission made by Mr. Pankaj Miglani. Since petitioner did not apply for the post of Deputy Education Officer, therefore, Public Service Commission cannot be faulted for not including his name, after preliminary examination, for the post of Deputy Education Officer. Thus there is no scope for interference. Writ petition fails and is dismissed.
