This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers:-
"(I) Issue a writ, order or direction, directing the Court of Learned Judge Small Cause Courts/2nd Additional District Judge, Dehradun to decide and conclude the proceedings of SCC Suit No. 30 of 2025, Deepak Agarwal Vs. Gaurav Lamba & others, very very expeditiously, within the stipulated time, which this Hon'ble court deem fit and proper in facts and circumstances of the case.
(II) Issue any other order or direction which this Hon'ble High Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.
(III) To award cost of the petition to the Petitioner."
2. Heard Mr. Rajendra Arya, learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. Mr. Rajendra Arya, Advocate, appearing for the petitioner-plaintiff submitted that the said case is fixed for final hearing.
4. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judge, Small Cause Court/ IInd 1 2026:UHC:1576 Additional District Judge, Dehradun is requested to make an endeavor to decide the said SCC Suit No. 30 of 2025, "Deepak Agarwal Vs. Gaurav Lamba & Others", expeditiously, as per law, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either party.
5. The Writ Petition (WPMS No.557 of 2026) is disposed of accordingly.
6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case.
