3. Grievance which has been raised by the petitioner, in the writ petition, is regarding the fact that respondent no.2-District Supply Officer, Nainital, has not taken any decision on the resolution passed by the Gram Panchayat in favour of the petitioner for allotment of a fair price shop to him.
4. According to the petitioner, the said resolution/proposal is pending with respondent no.2-District Supply Officer, Nainital, since August, 2025, when it was forwarded by the Block Development Officer to respondent no.2-District Supply Officer, Nainital.
5. Learned counsel for the State prays for and is granted two days' time to seek instructions in the matter.
6. List this case on 12.03.2026 as fresh.
