3. This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a mandamus commanding the respondents state to regularize the land over which the petitioners claim to be in possession, in the name of the petitioners.
4. A reference has been made of a policy which has not been annexed with the writ petition. It is submitted by the petitioners that under the policy they have been asked to pay premium (nazrana) for regularization of the said land in the year 2023, but still the land has not been regularized in the name of the petitioners.
5. The petitioners claim that they are in possession of the said land and doing harvesting and farming over the said land since generations.
6. Learned counsel for the State prays for and is granted four weeks' time for filing counter affidavit.
