2. Mr. Suyash Pant, Ld. S.C. for the State.
3. Vide order dated 26.02.2026 instructions were called from the State that as to why the petitioner is not being permitted to grow paddy crop on the land concerned.
4. Today instructions are passed on to this Court which are taken on record.
5. As per the instructions received from the State counsel, permission for growing the summer paddy crop is granted, as no other crop can be grown in the area. Since the petitioner had already utilized the said land for growing the pea-crop, therefore, permission cannot be granted to the petitioner for cultivating a paddy crop on the concerned land
6. Learned counsel for the State prays for and is granted two weeks' time for filing counter affidavit.
7. One week's time thereafter is granted to the counsel for the petitioner for filing rejoinder affidavit.
8. List this case on 01.04.2026.
