  JUDGMENT :

(per Mr. Manoj Kumar Gupta C. J.)

1. The petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release balance amount of ₹32,50,000/- (Rupees Thirty Two Lakh Fifty Thousand Only) in respect of the work done by the petitioner firm in pursuance of work order dated 07.11.2024 and for a further direction to also release the security amount of ₹3,25,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh Twenty Five Thousand Only).

2. It seems that so far only 50% of the amount has been released in favour of the petitioner. In respect 1 2026:UHC:1468-DB of the remaining amount the representations filed by the petitioner firm are stated to be pending.

3. Learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the Nagar Nigam would fairly state that the respondents would examine the claim and take an appropriate decision.

4. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2 to pass a speaking order on the representation dated 14.11.2025 ( at page 25 of the writ petition) within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with photocopy of the representation dated 14.11.2025.

5. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
