3. Mr. Ashutosh Thakral, learned counsel for respondent no.2 (appeared through V.C.).
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a contractor and was awarded a contract for construction of Nala within the Nagar Palika Parishad, Laksar, District Haridwar. Having completed the work, the final bill was prepared by respondent-Nagar Palika through its Assistant Engineer, which is around Rs. 14,35,049/- and has not been paid to the petitioner since 2021.
5. Learned counsel for respondent no. 2, Nagar Palika Parishad, seeks time to obtain instructions as to whether the Nagar Palika Parishad admits its liability to pay the aforesaid amount to the petitioner or not.
6. List on 16.02.2026 as fresh enabling learned counsel for respondent no.2 to seek instructions in the matter.
