This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 24.12.2024, passed in WPSS No. 98 of 2024 and batch. By the said order, following direction was issued:-

"6. .........., therefore, the present writ petition is disposed of finally by directing to the respondents to pass a fresh order by giving notice and opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and also by reasoned and speaking order. The entire exercise be completed by the respondents preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order."

2. Heard Mr. Harendra Belwal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Jagdish Singh Bisht, learned counsel for the respondent no.2.

3. A Compliance Affidavit dated 06.10.2025 has 1 2026:UHC:790 been filed by Mr. Rajesh Chandra, the Engineer-in-Chief and Head of Department, Public Works Department, Uttarakhand, Dehradun. According to the said Compliance Affidavit, the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2025 has been disposed of by the Office Memo No. 1553/10 AC dated 27.09.2025 by a reasoned and speaking order by the office of the Executive Engineer, Construction Division, Public Works Department, Askot, District Pithoragarh.

4. Mr. Harendra Belwal, Advocate, submitted that the petitioner's representation has been decided, therefore, the petitioner does not want to pursue the present matter further.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Contempt Petition does not require any further consideration. Therefore, the proceedings in the present Contempt Petition are closed.
