Mr. Vinay Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners.
2. Mr. J. S. Bisht and Mr. S.S. Chaudhari, learned Standing Counsel for the State/respondents.
3. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners places reliance upon the interim order dated 29.01.2026 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in WPSS No. 212 of 2026.
4. Since the petitioners are similarly situated to the petitioner in WPSS No. 212 of 2026, and learned counsel for the State does not dispute the same, there shall be an interim order in terms of the order dated 29.01.2026 passed in WPSS No. 212 of 2026.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the retired employees, who are being paid pension under the Old Pension Scheme. By the impugned order dated 16.01.2026, more particularly Clause 3 Kha (v), the pension of the petitioners is being stopped with immediate effect.
6. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that prior to issuance of the impugned order, which is general in nature, no opportunity of hearing has been provided to the petitioners and the pension is being stopped with immediate effect.
7. Learned State Counsel prayed for and is granted four weeks' time to file counter affidavit.
8. List on 12.03.2026.
9. In the meanwhile, the effect and operation of the impugned order dated 16.01.2026 shall remain stayed qua the petitioner.
10. Urgency application and interim relief application (IA Nos.1 & 2 of 2026) stand disposed of.
