2. Mr. Bhupendra Koranga, Brief Holder for the State.
3. By means of the present writ petition, the petitioners have sought following reliefs:-
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash order/office memo dated 16.01.2026 issued by the respondent no.1, so far it relates to the Clause 3 Kha(vi) whereby the petitioners' General Provident Fund (GPF) account has been closed and a process are being taken to bring them under NPS or UPS from the old pension scheme (Annexure No.2).
(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to continue the benefit of old pension scheme to the petitioners by reviving their General Provident Fund (GPF) accounts."
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has, in fact drawn the attention of the Court towards an interim order dated 29.01.2026 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in WPSS No.209 of 2026.
5. Learned counsel for the respondents does not dispute the same.
6. In view of the above, there will be an interim order in view of the order passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in WPSS No.209 of 2026. Accordingly, the effect and operation of the impugned order dated 16.01.2026 shall remain stayed qua the petitioners.
7. Interim Relief Application (IA No.2 of 2026) and Urgency Application (IA No.1 of 2026) stand disposed of accordingly.
8. List this case along with WPSS No.209 of 2026.
