2. Mr. Gajendra Tripathi and Mr. N. K. Papnoi, learned Standing Counsel for the State.
3. The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of the order dated 19.12.2025 passed by respondent no. 2 as well as the consequential order dated 24.01.2026, whereby it has been directed that the services of persons similarly situated to the petitioner shall come to an end and that the petitioner shall be disengaged with effect from 11.02.2026. The second prayer in the petition is for consideration of regularization of the petitioner's services on the post of Junior Engineer, against which he has been working since 2009, in the light of the law laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in a series of judgments, the latest being Bhola Nath vs. State of Jharkhand and others, SLP (Civil) No. 30762 of 2024, decided on 30.01.2026.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner, in particular, has relied upon paragraphs 10(iii), 11, 13.4 and 14 of the aforesaid judgment rendered in Bhola Nath vs. State of Jharkhand and others (supra).
5. In view of the above, learned counsel for the State is directed to seek specific instructions as to whether the case of the petitioner is duly covered by the aforesaid judgment or not.
6. Put up on 09.02.2026, just after fresh cases. On that date, the interim relief application filed by the petitioner shall be considered.
7. The urgency application (IA No. 1 of 2026) is disposed of.
8. After passing of the order, learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record an interim order dated 10.01.2026 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in WPSS No. 118 of 2026.
9. Learned counsel for the State is directed to seek instructions as to whether the aforesaid interim order would be applicable to the present petition or not and shall remain ready with the said instructions on the next date.
