Mr. Bilal Ahmed, learned counsel for the applicant (appeared through V.C.).

2. Mr. Dinesh Chauhan, learned Brief Holder for the State.

3. Counsel for the applicant is pressing the short-term bail application (IA No. 2/2026) on the premise that his sister's marriage is scheduled for 09.02.2026.

4. Yesterday, learned State Counsel was granted time to verify the said fact.

5. Today, counsel for the State makes a submission that the averment regarding the marriage ceremony of the applicant's sister is correct and has been verified by the police authorities.

6. In view of the above, the short-term bail application is allowed.

7. The applicant is granted short-term bail for a period of 15 days to attend the marriage ceremony of his sister, on executing a personal bond and furnishing two sureties of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the concerned court.

8. It is hereby made clear that upon expiry of the said period, the applicant shall forthwith surrender before the jail authority.

9. Short term bail application stands disposed of accordingly.

10. List on the date fixed.
