Hon'ble Alok Kumar Verma, J.
The Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Haridwar had passed an Award in favour of the petitioner and directed the respondent no.2, through whom he was engaged, to reinstate him with full back wages and all consequential benefits. Seven Awards, including the Award passed in the petitioner's matter, were challenged before this High Court. The Coordinate Bench had observed that the issue as to whether M/s Uttam Sugar Mill Company Ltd. is the employer or M/s. Balaji Corporates Services is the employer in respect of the petitioner has not been considered. The Coordinate Bench set aside the Award and remanded the matter to the Labour Court for decision afresh.
2. Now, the learned Presiding Officer, Labour Court has passed the impugned Award dated 13.11.2025 in Adjudication Case No.08 of 2018, "Shri Videep Kumar vs. Manager, M/S Uttam Sugar Mill Company Ltd. And Another" and directed the respondent no.1 to pay compensation of Rs.2.00 lakh and interests to the petitioner. Reinstatement order has not been passed.
3. Heard Mr. Shubhang Dobhal, learned counsel for the petitioner.

Mr. Shubhang Dobhal, Advocate submitted that on the previous occasion, the Labour Court had directed the respondent no.2 to reinstate the petitioner, but the Labour Court Haridwar vide impugned Award dated 13.11.2025 directed the respondent no.1 to pay only compensation, which is against the law and against the facts on record.

6. Notice is being issued to the respondents. Steps to be taken within two weeks.
