This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers:-

"(I) Issue an appropriate writ, order, or direction, that Original Suit No.55 of 2024 "Omprakash Maithani Vs Nikki Nautiyal", pending before the Court of Civil Judge (Senior Division), Dehradun be decided within a stipulated time frame as provided by this Hon'ble Court.
(II) Issue an appropriate writ, order, or direction that learned trial court to proceed with issue-framing and commencement of trial without further delay.
(III) Pass such further orders or directions which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case."

2. Heard Mr. Tushar Chauhan, learned counsel for the petitioner. He submitted that the petitioner is pressing only prayer no.(I).

3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Writ Petition (WPMS No. 410 of 2026) is disposed of by directing the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Dehradun to decide the Original Suit No. 55 of 2024, "Omprakash Maithani Vs. Smt. Nikki Nautiyal", filed for 1 2026:UHC:1168 perpetual injunction, expeditiously, as per law.

4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case.
