This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 07.11.2025, passed in WPSS No.2358 of 2024. By the said order, the following directions were issued:-
"50.The respondent nos.2,3 & 4 are directed to reinstate the petitioner into service within thirty days from the date of this judgment. The petitioner shall, however, be entitled to receive 50% of the salary from the date she is said to have been relieved from service pursuant to the impugned communication dated 31.10.2023 to the date of her reinstatement. The amount shall be calculated and paid to the petitioner within a period of two months from today. The period from the date she is said to have been relieved from service pursuant to the impugned communication dated 31.10.2023 to the date of her reinstatement shall, however, be counted for pensionary benefits, if any."
2. Heard Mr. Anand Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. Mr. Anand Kumar Pandey, Advocate, submitted that the petitioner has been reinstated; however, 50% of the salary has not been paid.
4. It is prima facie case of wilful disobedience of the Order dated 07.11.2025
5. Notice is being issued to the respondent no.1.
6. The respondent no.1 is directed to appear before this Court through video conferencing on 23.03.2026 at 10:30 a.m. and clarify why proceedings should not be initiated against him for committing contempt of Court.
7. Mr. Anand Kumar Pandey, Advocate, has sought one weeks' time to take steps.
