2. Mr. K.S. Bohra, learned D.A.G. for State of Uttarakhand/respondent.
3. Learned State Counsel was asked to get custody certificate of appellant vide order dated 13.02.2026.
4. Learned State Counsel submits that although the appellant was initially lodged in District Jail, Dehradun from 28.07.2015 to 20.01.2022, but, thereafter, he was shifted to District Jail, Muzaffarnagar, where, he was lodged till 20.04.2025, and thereafter, he was again shifted to Central Jail, Bareilly.
5. He submits that although instructions regarding period of incarceration undergone by appellant in District Jail, Dehradun and District Jail, Muzaffarnagar, have been received, but, no instruction has been received so far from Central Jail, Bareilly, even though Jail Superintendent, District Jail, Muzaffarnagar has made a request to 2 Jail concerned for the said purpose.
6. In such view of the matter, we direct Inspector General(Prison), U.P., Lucknow as well as Jail Superintendent, Central Jail, Bareilly to furnish the custody certificate in respect of appellant on or before next date of listing.
7. Put up on 12.03.2026.
