On 17.05.2023, the writ petition was disposed of with a request to the concerned court to make endeavor to decide the suit within nine months. Thereafter, a Time Extension Application was filed. This Court directed to the court concerned to decide the suit expeditiously. A Time Extension Application was submitted by IVth Additional District Judge, Dehradun. On 11.07.2025, the co-ordinate Bench granted further two months time.
2. A Time Extension Application (MCC No.5 of 2026) has been received from IInd Additional District Judge, Dehradun.
3. Heard Mr. Sagar Kothari, learned counsel for the petitioners.
4. According to the Time Extension Application, the learned IInd Additional District Judge, Dehradun has received the case file of Case No.51 of 2016 from the court of IVth Additional District Judge, Dehradun in compliance with the order dated 21.01.2026, passed by learned District Judge, Dehradun. The case is fixed for evidence of defendant.
5. For the foregoing reasons, further two months time is being granted to the learned IInd Additional District Judge, Dehradun to decide the Case No.51 of 2016,"Agrawal Charitable Trust vs. New Janata Transport".
6. Time Extension Application (MCC No.5 of 2026) stands disposed of accordingly.
7. Registry is directed to communicate this order to the Court concerned forthwith.
