Mr. Karan Singh Dugtal, learned counsel for the Applicant.

2. Mr. Vipul Painuly, learned AGA, for the State of Uttarakhand.

3. In the High Court of Uttarakhand, the present case arises from Bail Application filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking regular bail for the Applicant - Jaspal Singh, who has been accused in FIR No.0053 of 2025, dated 19.09.2025 under Sections 8/20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, at Police Station Karanprayag, District Chamoli. The Applicant is in judicial custody since 19.09.2025.

4. Learned counsel for the Applicant submits that Applicant has got an appointment letter for the post of Enrolled Follower (Water Carrier) in TSR Battalions from Government of Tripura, and prays that the Applicant may be granted bail.

5. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that Applicant has got an appointment from Government of Tripura, the Applicant has made out a case for bail.

6. Accordingly, bail application is allowed. It is directed that the Applicant - Jaspal Singh, who has been accused in FIR No.0053 of 2025, dated 19.09.2025 under Sections 8/20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, at Police Station Karanprayag, District Chamoli, be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond with two reliable sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned court. The Applicant shall cooperate with the trial proceedings and shall not misuse the liberty granted to him.
