                                                         Versus

State of Uttarakhand & others .....Respondents

                               Hon'ble Pankaj Purohit, J.

Mr. Shobhit Sahaira, learned counsel for the petitioners.

2. Mr. Yogesh Pandey, learned Deputy Advocate General for the State.

3. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners who are members of the Doon Cooperative Stores Limited (a central Society) and Mahadev Avasiya Sehkari Samiti (a primary society). Petitioners challenged the impugned order dated 17.03.2026, annexure-11 to the writ petition, whereby the Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Society directed the ADCOs to undertake the inquiry and to submit the report within three days to the District Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies, Dehradun and other orders dated 01.01.2026 & 05.01.2026, passed by respondent nos.2 & 3 respectively.

4. The apprehension in the mind of the petitioner is that, during the aforesaid inquiry, the petitioner-Society may have been wound up under Section 72 of the Uttarakhand Cooperative Societies Act, 2003 (for short "the Act, 2003").

5. Though the petition appears to have been founded on mere apprehension, still, in order to obliterate the apprehension of the petitioner, the learned Deputy Advocate General appearing for the State is directed to seek instructions in the matter.

6. List on 07.04.2026 as fresh.
