This is a petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India challenging the legality and propriety of the judgment dated 13.05.2019 delivered in Civil Misc.(PMP)42 of 2014. The substantive ground that has been taken is that there is no evidence but without evidence the District Judge, West Tripura, Agartala has assessed the land value and as such, the finding on the purported assessment requires to be interfered with.
Having that ground into consideration, this petition is admitted to be heard on merit.
Issue notice calling upon the respondents to show cause as to why the revision petition should not be admitted as prayed for; and/or any other such further order(s) shall not be passed as to this Court may deem fit and proper having regard to the circumstances of the case.
Notice is made returnable on 12.02.2021. Steps for service on the respondents be taken by the petitioners within a week from today by registered post with AD.
