             WRIT PETITION No.6631 OF 2024

O R D E R:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief:

"...to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declare the action of the respondents in not deputing/sending the petitioner for nine 9 months Basic induction training for appointment to the post of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constable (Armed Reserve) [SCT PC (AR)] in pursuance of Notification in Proc.Rc.No.41/Rect/Admn I/2022, dt.25.4.2022 even though the petitioner was provisionally selected to the post of SCT PC (AR), only on the alleged ground that the petitioner has suppressed the fact of in Involvement of Criminal case in Attestation Form for the non existing fact is illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional, contrary to various Judgments of Honble High Court and Honble Supreme Court of India apart from violative of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents and consequently direct the respondents to depute the petitioner for nine (9) months basic induction training for appointment to the post of SCTPCAR along with batch mates who were provisionally selected with all consequential benefits ..."

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 14.03.2024. the Committee vide Memorandam Rc.No.R&T-3/66/Rect/Cyb/2024, dated 31.05.2024, has considered the representation of the petitioner dated 02.03.2024 and selected him to the post of SCTPCs (AR) and informed that his (09) months Basic Induction Training will be done in the next batch. Vide 2 Memorandum Rc.No.87/Rect./Admn.4/2024, dated 15.05.2024, the Committee has cleared the name of the petitioner from the criminal case and decided to send him to the Basic Induction Training. Therefore, the grievance of the petitioner is redressed. Hence, no further orders are necessary in the matter.

3. Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
