JUDGMENT:
1. The appellant-claimant filed this appeal against the Order and Decree dated 09.06.2015 in M.V.O.P.No.157 of 2012 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal-Cum-VI Additional District Judge, Godavarikhani, where under the Tribunal granted an amount of Rs.58,712/- towards compensation along with interest @ 9% per annum as against the claim of Rs.1,00,000/- on account of the injuries received in the motor vehicle accident occurred on 05.02.2010.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the appellant and the learned counsel appearing for respondent No.3-Insurance Company.
3. The case of the claimant is that on 05.02.2010, while he was crossing the road on his bicycle, a lorry at a high speed dashed his cycle resulting in multiple injuries all over the body. Out of which, one injury is loss of teeth and other injures are lacerations and abrasions all over the body.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the appellant would submit that meagre compensation was granted towards pain and suffering.

5. In the said circumstances, this Court deems it appropriate to enhance the compensation of Rs.25,000/- granted by the Tribunal towards pain and suffering to Rs.50,000/-.
6. In the result, the Motor Accident Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is partly allowed enhancing the compensation awarded by the Tribunal from Rs.58,712/- to Rs.83,712/-. The enhanced amount shall carry interest @ 7.5% per annum from the date of petition till the date of realization. Except the above enhancement, the award of the Tribunal shall remain same on all other aspects. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
