APPEAL SUIT No.1156 OF 2000
JUDGMENT:
1. On 04.09.2023, when the matter was taken up for hearing, none appeared for both parties and therefore, the matter was directed to be listed on 08.09.2023 under the caption "for dismissal". Thereafter, when the matter was called on 08.09.2023, learned counsel for the appellants sought adjournment and the matter was directed to be listed on 22.09.2023. Even today, when the matter is called, learned counsel for the appellants seeks adjournment, in spite of the matter being listed under the caption "for dismissal".
2. In view of the above, it appears that learned counsel for the appellants is not ready to argue the case. This shows that the appellants are not evinced any interest in prosecuting the case. The appeal is of the year 2000.
3. In the said circumstances, this Appeal Suit is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
