Contempt Case No.23 of 2016
ORDER:
The petitioner filed this Contempt Case invoking hte provisions of Sections 10 to 12 of Contempt of Courts Act for non-implementation of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.2973 of 2015, dated 19.02.2015.
2. On 19.02.2015, this Court passed Judgment directing the District Collector/respondent No.3 in the Writ Petition to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and examine them in terms of G.O.Ms.No.98 and pass appropriate orders including recommendation of their names for the purpose of employment expeditiously.
3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services - II submits that pursuant to the orders passed by this Court, the District Selection Committee recommended the name of the petitioner on 13.12.2016 and placed a copy of the minutes along with the counter affidavit and further submits that this Court has not issued any further order directing the respondents to issue appointment order pursuant to the G.O.Ms.No.98, dated 15.04.1986.

4. Recording the above submission, Contempt Case is closed granting liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedies as available under law including implementation of the minutes issued by the District Selection Committee, dated 13.02.2016 seeking employment under G.O.Ms.No.98, dated 15.04.1986.
5. Accordingly, Contempt Case is closed. No costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
