                 WRIT PETITION No.36731 OF 2014

ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the removal order passed by the 3rd respondent vide Order No.HYD:ZO:IR:320, dated 13.03.2014, and confirmation order of the 2nd respondent vide Order No.HYD:ZO:IR:143, dated 14.08.2014, as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, sought direction to the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service with all consequential benefits.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri K. Lakshminarayana, leaned counsel appearing for the respondents, submitted that during the pendency of the present writ petition, the petitioner was convicted in criminal case vide Judgment, dated 09.08.2018, in C.C.No.4 of 2014, on the file of the Principal Special Judge for CBI Cases, Hyderabad.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he has no instructions to proceed with the matter. However, learned counsel submitted that in the event of disposal of the present writ petition, liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum, after his acquittal in the criminal case, for redressal of his grievance, if any.

4. Recording the above said submissions, the Writ Petition is closed granting liberty to the petitioner, as sought for.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No costs.
