CRIMINAL REVISION CASE NO.59 OF 2020
O R D E R:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. Perused the material on record.
2. The Criminal Revision Case is filed by the petitioner, who is the husband of the respondent No.1, aggrieved by Judgment dated 23.10.2019 passed in Criminal Appeal No.90 of 2018 on the file of learned VI Additional District and Sessions Judge at Siddipet confirming the order dated 20.11.2018 passed in D.V.C.No.3 of 2017 on the file of learned Junior Civil Judge-cum-Judicial First Class Magistrate, Dubbak. The reliefs granted are as follows:
a) The respondents are prohibited from committing further acts of domestic violence on the aggrieved persons;
b) The respondents are directed to pay Rs.2,500/- every month to the aggrieved person towards rent in lieu of 2 alternate accommodation, from the date of this order and
c) The respondents are further directed to pay monthly maintenance at the rate of Rs.6,000/- to the aggrieved person for sustenance and other expenses of her children, from the date of this order.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that that the reliefs shall be directed only towards petitioner and the others, who are parents and sister shall not be made liable to pay either the maintenance or rent.
4. I do not find any infirmity in the order passed by the learned Sessions Judge. However, this Court deems it appropriate to pass an order that no coercive steps shall be taken against the parents, who are the old aged and the sister, who is already married and living separately, of the petitioner and coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner only.
5. With the above direction, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of.
