CRIMINAL APPEAL No.24 OF 2015
JUDGMENT: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice M.Laxman)

The Criminal Appeal is filed against the judgment dated 15.10.2014 in Sessions Case No.8 of 2012 on the file of the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vikarabad, whereunder the appellant herein was convicted for the offence under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code and sentenced to life imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/- and in default, to undergo a simple imprisonment for a period of six months.
2. As per the report, dated 13.03.2023 submitted by the Superintendent of Jails, Central Prison, Hyderabad, the appellant/accused died on 16.06.2019 due to medical condition, while serving sentence of life imprisonment. In the said circumstances, this appeal is liable to be dismissed as abated.
3. In the result, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
