JUDGMENT:
Heard Sri A. Ramakrishna Reddy, learned counsel for the appellant and B.V. Aparna Lakshmi, learned Counsel for respondent No.1.
This matter is settled in Lok Adalat on 26.06.2022 whereby the parties have agreed for payment of additional amoutn of Rs.4,55,000/- in addition to the deposited amount. The respondent/petitioner has agreed to receive the said amount towards full and final settlement of his claim and the Insurance Company has agreed to deposit the said amount within six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the award. In the event of default or delay in making such deposit, the amount payable shall carry interest at 12% per annum from the date of default.
Recording the settlement arrived at before the Lok Adalat dated 26.06.2022, the M.A.C.M.A is disposed of. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
