THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE MUMMINENI SUDHEER KUMAR
WRIT PETITION No.2531 OF 2023
ORDER:
Heard Sri K. Laxmi Manohar, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Stamps and Registration appearing for respondents Nos.1 to 3 and Sri N. Srikanth Goud, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.4.
2. In the light of the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court in C.R.P.No.2338 of 2018, dated 05.11.2018, the ground raised in this Writ Petition contending that the Deputy Registrar is not the competent authority to pass the impugned award, for want of notification issued under sub-section (1) of Section 61 of the Chit Funds Act, 1982 is not available to the petitioner. Hence, there is no merit in the Writ Petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.
3. However, learned counsel for the petitioner made a request for permitting the petitioner to pay the amount due under the impugned award in installments for which the learned counsel for the respondent No.4 has positively responded and accepted for the same to pay the due amount in six (6) equal monthly installments.

If the petitioner commits any default in payment of monthly installment, as permitted above, respondent No.4 is at liberty to take steps in accordance with law.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
