CRIMINAL PETITION No.4574 OF 2023
JUDGMENT:
1 This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioner/A1 to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.29 of 2022 on the file of Lalaguda Police Station, Hyderabad. The offences alleged against the petitioner/Accused are under Sections 467, 468, 471, 474, 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the loan taken against part of the land, was given back.
3. But, keeping in view the allegations regarding fabrication of documents, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings against the petitioner. However, the Police shall not take any coercive steps for a period of four weeks from the date of this order. Thereafter, the Police can proceed against the petitioner, in accordance with law. 2
4. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed off.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications if any, shall stand closed.
