         THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURENDER

CRIMINAL REVISION CASE Nos.190 AND 191 OF 2020

COMMON JUDGMENT:

These Criminal Revision Cases are filed under Sections 379 and 401

of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the

petitioner-accused to set aside the judgments dated 24.06.2019 passed

in Criminal Appeal Nos.524 of 2018 and 525 of 2018 passed by the

learned II Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad.

2. Since the petitioner in both the criminal revision cases is one and

the same, they are heard together and disposed of by way of this

common judgment.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional

Public Prosecutor for the State - respondent. Perused the record.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has undergone the sentence of imprisonment as inflicted by the trial Court and confirmed by the learned Sessions Judge. Further, the learned counsel has produced a certificate issued by the Superintendent, Central Prison, Hyderabad, in which it is mentioned that the petitioner has undergone sentence in C.C.Nos.293 of 2017 and 308 of 2016 and that after expiry of sentence, the petitioner was released from the prison on 09.04.2022.

5. Since the petitioner has undergone the sentence, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of these criminal revision cases and the 2nd respondent - complainants are at liberty to proceed for recovery of the cheque amounts in accordance with law.

6. Accordingly, both the criminal revision cases are disposed off.

Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
