Heard Mr.Ganesh, learned counsel for the appellants
and Ms.C.Sunitha Kumari, learned counsel for the
respondent.
2. The writ appeal is directed against the order dated 28.12.2011 passed by the learned Single Judge allowing W.P.No.23906 of 2011 filed by the respondent.
3. The matter pertains to contract for transport of high speed diesel and motor spirit for the period 2010-12.
4. On 03.02.2012 the appellate Court while issuing notice had stayed operation of the aforesaid order. Subsequently, while admitting the writ appeal on 26.04.2012, the stay was vacated.

5. Since the period of contract has long expired, no live issue survives for adjudication in this writ appeal.
6. Writ appeal is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
