Heard Ms. Siva Teja, learned counsel for the appellant and
Mr. D.L.Pandu, learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise
appearing for respondents No.2 to 5.
2. The writ appeal is directed against the order dated 12.09.2014 passed by the learned Single Judge allowing W.P.No.4962 of 2003 filed by respondent No.1 as the writ petitioner.
3. Learned counsel for the appellant fairly submits that the license to sell toddy in Nizamabad area was for the period from 01.04.2002 to 31.03.2007, which period has long expired.
4. That being the position, nothing survives for adjudication in this case.
5. Writ appeal is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
