JUDGMENT :
During the pendency of the appeal, the matter was referred to Lok Adalat and the same was settled before the Lok Adalat, vide Award dated 12.11.2022.
The learned Standing Counsel for TSRTC has also filed a Memo undertaking to pay the award amount and requested the Court to dispose of the appeal in terms of the Award passed by the Lok Adalat.
As per the provisions of the A.P. Reorganisation Act, 2014, since APSRTC has been bifurcated and TSRTC is formed, the Award passed by the Lok Adalat can be applied to TSRTC as well.
Accordingly, the MACMA is disposed of in terms of the Award, dated 12.11.2022, passed by the Lok Adalat. No order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
