AND THE HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE JUVVADI SRIDEVI CRIMINAL APPEAL NO.473 OF 2013 JUDGMENT: {Per the Hon'ble Smt. Justice Juvvadi Sridevi} The sole accused in S.C.No.314 of 2012 on the file of the learned I Additional District & Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District - cum - Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Cyberabad at L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad, filed this appeal, feeling aggrieved by the conviction and sentence ordered against him by the trial Court through judgment dated 02.04.2013.
The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced the instructions of the Sub-Inspector of Police, RGIA Police Station, Cyberabad, dated 24.11.2022, wherein it is stated that based on the complaint given by one Bairamoni Ramesh regarding an unknown male dead body lying in open area of Shamshabad Railway Station, Crime No.717/2021 was registered. It is further stated that during the course of investigation, the Investigating Officer identified the body of the deceased as that of Makkala Mahesh (the appellant/accused) and held inquest over the dead body of the deceased, and that after completion of post mortem examination, 2 AAR,J & JS,J Crl.A.No.473 of 2013 the dead body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for conducting funeral rights.
Having regard to the above, the appeal is dismissed as abated. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
