         Heard   Mr.      M.Hamsa           Raj,     learned        counsel   for   the

appellants.


2.       Learned counsel for the appellants fairly submits that

since the law involved in the appeal is well settled by the

decision of the          Supreme Court in State                       of   Kerala    v.

V.R.Kalliyanikutty1, nothing survives for adjudication in this

appeal.


3.       In that view of the matter, writ appeal is dismissed as

infructuous.


         Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand

closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
