JUDGMENT:   (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma)


      I.A.No.1 of 2019 is an application seeking for

condonation of delay of 243 days in filing the writ appeal.

     The present case relates to correction of name in the

Secondary School Certificate and the learned Single

Judge has allowed the writ petition.

     The affidavit filed along with the application seeking

condonation of delay reveals that the appellants have

received the certified copy of the order on 13.03.2019 and

as usual, a lame excuse is being made before this Court

that the file was lost.

     In the considered opinion of this Court, as day to

day delay has not been explained, this Court does not

find any reason to condone the delay.

     Otherwise       also,     on      merits,       based        upon   the

certificates of father, mother and birth certificate, the

correction of name has been ordered by the learned

Single Judge.

     This Court does not find reason to allow the

application seeking condonation of delay.

     The I.A is accordingly dismissed. As a consequence,

the appeal also fails and is accordingly dismissed.
