                     WRIT APPEAL No.510 of 2020

JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma)

The present writ appeal is arising out of order dated

05.11.2020

passed in W.P.No.19588 of 2020 by the learned Single Judge.

The facts of the case reveal that the appellant/writ petitioner came up before this Court being aggrieved by the condition imposed by the University of Hyderabad of possessing 60% marks at +2 level of education with Telugu/Egnlish/Hindi as one of the subjects for admission into integrated master's degree programmes (5 years), as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the National Education Policy, 2020.

Learned Single Judge has issued notice in the matter and against issuance of notice, the present writ appeal has been filed.

Learned counsel appearing for the University has stated before this Court that the University is yet to file a reply in the main writ petition and the matter has to be adjudicated on merits by the learned Single Judge. 2

This Court does not find any reason to interfere with the order passed by the learned Single Judge in issuing notice.

Accordingly, the writ appeal stands dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
